🇰🇷 한국민속촌 평일 방문기 with 아이 👧 Korean Folk Village Weekday Visit with Kids

지난 평일, 첫째 아이와 함께 경기도 용인에 위치한 한국민속촌에 다녀왔어요.
On a weekday, I visited the Korean Folk Village in Yongin with my first child.

원래는 서울랜드를 가려 했는데, 날씨가 너무 더워 그늘이 많고 한적한 한국민속촌으로 목적지를 바꿨어요.
We originally planned to go to Seoul Land, but due to the hot weather, we switched to the Korean Folk Village, which has more shade and open space.

🎟 입장 및 할인 정보

정가 기준 입장료는 성인 37,000원, 아동 30,000원이지만, 현재 평일 할인 이벤트 중이라 전 연령 19,000원에 입장할 수 있었어요.
The regular admission fee is ₩37,000 for adults and ₩30,000 for children, but thanks to a weekday promotion, everyone entered for ₩19,000.

대중교통을 이용하면 15,000원으로 더 할인되니 참고하세요!
If you use public transportation, the price drops further to ₩15,000—good to know!

🚗 도착 및 주차

오전 10시 개장에 맞춰 도착했더니 주차장은 거의 비어 있었고 아주 한산했어요.
I arrived just as the park opened at 10 a.m., and the parking lot was almost empty.

하지만 10시가 넘자마자 외국인 단체 관광객들이 많이 들어오더라고요.
After 10 a.m., large groups of foreign tourists began to arrive quickly.

🏘 전통마을 구경

입장하자마자 전통 초가집과 소, 우물, 옛 마을이 재현된 공간이 반겨줬어요.
Right inside the gate, you’re greeted by a recreated Korean village with thatched-roof houses, cows, and a traditional well.

실제로 조선 시대 생활 모습을 엿볼 수 있어서 아이들과 교육 목적으로도 좋아요.
It’s a great place for kids to learn about Korean history and culture while exploring hands-on exhibits.

🚼 유모차와 편의시설

유아휴게실과 의무실이 입구 근처에 있고, 유모차는 초입까지만 다니기 편해요.
There’s a baby lounge and first aid center near the entrance. Strollers work fine in the front area.

하지만 내부는 대부분 흙길이라 너무 어린 아기들은 다니기 조금 힘들 수 있어요.
However, the inner paths are dirt roads, so very young children may have trouble moving around.

킥보드나 자전거는 반입 금지예요.
Scooters and bicycles are not allowed inside the park.

🏃 아이들이 좋아한 놀이마을

전통마을을 구경하고 나면 아이들이 좋아할 ‘놀이마을’이 있어요.
After exploring the village, we headed to the “Kids' Amusement Village,” which my child loved.

회전목마, 티컵, 귀신의 집, 미니 기차, 하늘 나는 자동차 등 다양한 놀이기구가 준비돼 있어요.
It has fun rides like a merry-go-round, teacups, haunted house, mini train, and flying cars.

무섭지 않아서 겁 많은 아이들도 즐겁게 탈 수 있었어요!
The rides are kid-friendly and not too scary—even for children who are usually shy about rides.

🍽 식사와 간식

놀이마당 앞에 간단한 식사를 할 수 있는 푸드코트형 식당이 있어요.
There’s a casual food court right next to the ride area for a quick meal.

저희는 짜장면과 돈까스를 먹었는데, 짜장면은 평범하고 돈까스가 더 맛있었어요.
We tried the black bean noodles (jjajangmyeon) and pork cutlet—noodles were okay, but the pork cutlet was better.

젤리 가게도 있어서 아이랑 간식 쇼핑도 했고,
There’s also a candy store where kids can pick their own snacks,

소떡소떡, 회오리 감자 등 다양한 길거리 간식도 팔고 있어요.
and popular Korean street snacks like sausage rice cake skewers and tornado potatoes.

💃 퍼레이드와 공연

시간 맞춰 가면 한국 전통 복장을 입은 무용수들의 퍼레이드도 볼 수 있어요.
If you visit at the right time, you can catch a traditional Korean dance parade with performers in hanbok.

무용을 전공한 저로서는 정말 흥미롭게 봤고, 리듬에 맞춰 박수도 치게 되더라고요!
As someone who majored in dance, I found it exciting—and couldn’t help but clap along to the rhythm.

🧊 카페와 휴식

나오는 길에는 시원한 음료를 마시기 위해 카페에 들렀어요.
We stopped by the café for a cold drink on the way out.

식혜를 마셨는데 많이 달아서 아이는 좋아했지만 저는 다 마시진 못했어요.
I tried the traditional Korean rice drink (sikhye), which was very sweet—great for kids, but too much for me.

좌식 테이블도 있어 아이랑 쉬기 좋았어요.
The café has floor seating too, which made it perfect for resting with kids.

✅ 총평

체험형 프로그램이 평일엔 많진 않았지만, 놀이마당만으로도 입장료는 아깝지 않았어요.
There weren’t many live experiences running on a weekday, but the rides alone made it worth the ticket price.

전통문화도 보고 놀이도 하고, 아이와 하루 종일 알차게 보내기 딱 좋은 곳이었어요.
You get to experience both Korean tradition and child-friendly fun in one place—great for a full day with kids.
