훈연실은 동탄 호수공원 카페거리, 동탄성당 옆(구 포근베이커리 자리)에 있어요.
건물 내 지하주차장을 이용할 수 있어 주차도 편리했어요.
매장은 넓고 테이블 수가 많아 단체 모임에 적합하며, 룸도 있지만 룸차지가 별도로 있어요.
Hoonyeonsil is located near Dongtan Lake Park café street, right next to Dongtan Cathedral (formerly Pogeun Bakery).
It offers convenient basement parking within the building.
The restaurant is spacious with many tables, making it ideal for group gatherings. Private rooms are available but come with an extra fee.
매장 한쪽에는 참나무 장작이 가득 쌓여 있고, 오픈 주방에서 조리 과정을 볼 수 있어요.
불맛과 향이 어떻게 만들어지는지 눈으로 확인할 수 있어 인상 깊었어요.
One side of the restaurant is stacked with oak firewood, and you can watch the open kitchen in action.
It’s impressive to see how the smoky flavors and aromas are created in real time.
이번에는 이전에 열지 않았던 공간을 개방해 운영 중이었어요.
해당 공간은 저녁에는 재즈 바 분위기로 바뀌며, 매주 주말 8시부터 10시까지 공연이 열린다고 해요.
이날은 예약이 꽉 찼을 정도로 인기가 많았어요.
This time, they had opened a previously unused area, which transforms into a jazz bar in the evening.
Live performances are held every weekend from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
It was fully booked that night, showing how popular it has become.
계산 전에는 ‘초 맞추기’ 이벤트도 진행 중이었어요.
5초 또는 10초를 정확히 맞추면 할인이 적용되는데, 테이블당 한 번만 참여할 수 있어요.
생각보다 할인 금액이 커서 은근히 손에 땀을 쥐게 하더라고요.
There’s also a fun “timer challenge” event before paying.
If you stop the timer exactly at 5 or 10 seconds, you get a discount—only one chance per table.
The discount is bigger than expected, which makes it surprisingly exciting.
👶 아기 식기가 새로 비치되어 있었어요.
예전에는 없던 부분이라 아기 동반 가족에게는 정말 반가운 변화였어요.
👶 Baby tableware was now available.
It wasn’t offered before, so it was a very welcome change for families with young children.

참나물 샐러드는 상큼하고 한국적인 맛이 살아 있었어요.
양도 넉넉해서 성인 5명이 함께 먹기에도 충분했어요.
The chamnamul salad was refreshing with a Korean twist.
It came in a generous portion, enough for 5 adults to share comfortably.
샘플러는 다양한 고기가 함께 나와 골라 먹는 재미가 있었어요.
또띠아는 두 장만 제공돼 아쉽긴 했지만, 전체적으로 만족스러웠어요.
저번보다 간이 덜 짜져서 더 맛있게 먹었고, 아이들도 폴드포크와 베이비백립을 잘 먹었어요.
The sampler featured a nice variety of meats, making it fun to try different flavors.
Only two tortillas were included, which felt a bit lacking, but overall it was satisfying.
The seasoning was milder than last time, making it tastier—and the kids enjoyed the pulled pork and baby back ribs especially.
브리스킷 라이스는 살짝 튀긴 밥 느낌으로 식감이 독특했어요.
맵지 않아 아이도 함께 먹을 수 있었지만, 식감은 호불호가 있을 수 있겠더라고요.
저는 맛있게 먹었습니다.
The brisket rice had a unique crispy texture, similar to fried rice.
It wasn’t spicy, so it was kid-friendly, though some might not enjoy the texture.
Personally, I liked it a lot.
아이들이 잘 먹었던 메뉴 위주로 추가 주문도 했고,
전반적으로 지난 방문에서 느꼈던 아쉬움이 보완되어 만족스러운 식사였어요.
We reordered the items the kids liked the most.
Overall, it was a much-improved experience compared to our last visit, and we left fully satisfied.
